Removing door panels on my 07 reg cab

Can anyone give me a few pointers on removing the door panels on my 07 reg cab. I have done quite of few over the years on other vehicles, but these panels "wrap" over the edge. I am used to sliding a tool under the panel and "popping" the connetors to free the panel.

I am just concerned that I will snap the ridge of the wrap.

Not sure on the whole process but there are some screws that have to removed under the "trim piece" in the indentation on door handle. The trim piece on mine isn't even secured, I'm going to have to get a piece of velcro to keep mine in place at some point.

I have one of those panel poppers but I have 10 others that work better, my fingers. If you can get your fingers behind the panel, you can yank it off. You have to be a bit careful by working the door a little bit at a time. Some of the little plastic pieces may stay on the door but you can remove them and put them back on the panel once you have it off.

Oh and keep in mind that the pics I took are the rear door of my CrewMax, the front door is the same. The only difference is that the pin that you push in is towards the front of the door instead of the rear.
