Can you put 35 Inch tires on a 2007 Tundra with only a leveling kit?
Ok so I have called about 5 places here in phoenix to find out if I could put on 35 inch tires with only a revtek leveling kit? (2.5 in the front 1 inch block in back) Not one person knew. Some said it would be impossible. Some had no clue. I have searched this site up and down and have found mixed answers. Some say you can, some say you can't. If anyone knows please let me know, show me some pics pleas so I can take them to the off-road shops and show them.
I am looking to put 35x12.5 r20 Toyo M/T and a revtek leveling kit.

Im going to go out on a limb and say that I think the tire is too wide and will rub. From what I remember, 11.5 in seems to be max width on stock rims. If you change rims and get some more backspacing...then they will be fine. You may only have to "adjust" your skid plate to make these work.

Not sure about the Revtek 2.5 ,BUT a TON of guys here are running 35's with either the Truxxx or the Toytec 3" leveling kits. It works better with aftermarket wheels or adding spacers to the OEM wheels.

Do a google search for SoCal Supertrucks. They have some pictures on their website with 2.5 in lifts and 35x12.50. They had to make a couple of small modifications to eliminate the rubbing but it seems to work.
I can tell you with the right wheels a 12.50 is not to wide. I am running 33x12.50 on BMF wheels with no lift and no rubbing. No mods to the skidplate either.

Thanks in advance
Yes they fit, and on stock wheels. If you are doing aftermarket, they will definitely fit.
With stock wheels you have to trim the skidplate, and possibly remove the little flaps at the front of the wheelwells.
The best shop in the Phoenix area for lifts, wheels, and tires is in Tempe, RIM1 Custom Wheels best source for FOOSE,DUB,TIS..... I already had a revtek kit and oversize tires on stock wheels. RIM1 Custom Wheels best source for FOOSE,DUB,TIS.... helped me make a custom kit that added an extra 2.5 inches in lift while keeping the stock wheels and shocks. I am now 5 inches taller than stock including the height gained from my 305/65/18 BFG A/T's.
The only thing I would do differently is to run 35x12.50-18 instead of my 305/65/18. The 35's are a little taller but otherwise the same, and seems to be the most common size everyone is running on the Tundra.
I currently have 16,000 miles on my 305's. Once I wear them out I will be switching to 35's, maybe 37's if I can get them to fit.
Good luck with yours. You will have no problems with 35's.
