CD Question

We are not 'technically gifted'...
If we have 6 CD's in the player and hit the 'random' button....does it play a track from 1 CD radomly or does it play a track from one of the 6 CD's???

Mine just plays from one CD , not all 6 ,Wish it would do random from all 6
have not played with it very much , could be all wrong about this. ??? maybe we will all find out from the CD smart people.

I think it's just one. There would be a long delay between songs if it did it from all six cds because of the fact that it would have to change discs to the reader...because (im pretty sure) that there is not an individual reader per disc. i don't hit the random button on my cds. i hit random on the iPod...i think I only own six cds. When I had my old Tundra, they all fit in the disc changer. now that I have nav, i'm reduced to four disc changer. so i just put everything on the iPod. think i've used the cd player twice. once to open it and load four discs. and one other occassion to play a disc...
