So when you guys do this, are you able to set a load in the back like you could before? How does this affect the trailer tung weight after this mod?
Is it really a "truck" now?
Not trying to be a hard ***, just curious . Looks nice
Thanks Scott. I have not hauled anything heavier than a couple of hundred pounds in the back with the new suspension but it seems stiff enough. I have not pulled anything, sorry.

The truck does look good, but it *is* quite amazing how small a big truck like the Tundra makes 22" rims look. I swear the 18's on mine look like 16's
Thanks Dallace. That's why I went for a meatier tire. Any less would have been the close to the same diameter as the stock 20s. Gonna post a couple of pics at the .org now

Thanks! I was actually surprised at how well this setup rides. A touch firmer than stock -- corners much better. Thinking of forgoing the sway bar now...... not!

Good to see that you decided on these wheels too. Looks very good. Mine stick out a bit more and i am waiting for the fender flares. Will post a picture when i have them.
Thanks fshol. I can see how yours sticks out since you're running 325s. I'm running 305 and only one wheel sticks out. It's killing me! I guess I'll wait and see what my mechanic says. I may even give McGaughys a call Monday.

KMC 652 Lo-Fi 22 x 9.5 +35 with Nitto 420S 305/45-22.
Pretty happy with how it turned out except for the < .5" of wheel sticking out of rear passenger well. Rear driver side sticks out < .25". Front wheels are flush. I checked if bed is centered correctly and it appears to be. Base of rotor to wheel spoke is equal at 3.5" so it shouldn't be an offset issue. Any ideas? I guess it would be a good time to get fender flares to hide the difference if nothing can be determined.

That looks great bro
any rubbing issues ? Next question did this improve the ride quality or make it worst?
Best looking Lowered Crew max..
Thanks for your Pm on showing me this
Happy New year as well

Don't know about best looking lowered CM, but thanks Erik No rubbing and rides pretty nice. Not as soft as stock but you can feel the road and the tires are grippy. I dropped .4MPG per the carputer. Happy New Year to you, too!

thanks 07Sport. Do you have any comments on my wheel problem?
Not sure if he does, but I do. Strong work, first of all. Looks very clean. I suspect this is a by-product of lowering. I had a McGaughys kit on my '05 Silverado SS and had the same variation. My right rear sat flush with the body panel while the left rear tucked just ever so slightly. Same on my buddy's '04 RCSB Silverado with a McGaughys 4/6 drop. I suspect there are slight variances at stock ride height that are multiplied as the clearance geometry changes. I wouldn't sweat it; probably if you polled everyone else with that drop they would say "Oh yeah, didn't notice that before." I'm convinced only the most discerning eyes will catch this sort of anomaly.
Curious on your impressions of the front coils? Ride is okay? McGaughys doesn't have the best reputation on front coils since they aren't progressive, but nobody does a spindle drop better than them. I like the SOS front end application but McGaughys rear. Wish I could have half of each.

Thanks. Someone suggested that the axle may have shifted when unbolting the leaf pack.
Front coils seem fine. Have not run over severe bump or potholes but I can see where it could be jarring. So far ride has been pretty close to stock -- a little firm. May have something to do with the 45 series trires, too.

RoyaleWithChesse, here are a couple of pics I shot yesterday to demonstrate the irregularity after the drop and new wheels. Not too subtle a difference, I'd say
Passenger Rear
Driver Rear
