It probably would but it would be so small you would not be able to measure it under practical circumstances. Let us know if you notice anything just the same, such as easier cranking in the morning, etc.

If you do a lot of short mileage trips, then yes. That is where light weight, synthetic oils really do the best. Once the oil is at operating temperature, there is no real difference between synthetic and dyno oil (which is why over the road trucks don't use synthetic oil).
