Default TRD skid plate

I have been looking at these sparks has em for 309. First of all do they make any difference or just for looks? Also if eventually I lift the truck and put much larger tires on it will It have to come off. I mean are the suspension components or anything goin to be in the way. I think it looks really clean but I don't want to get it then decide to lioft my truck and then take it off thanks

I don't believe that just because you have the TRD package, you also have the TRD skid plate. You have to get that on your own. $309 is a good price. I think my dealer is asking $375. I have read in this forum, that with some lifts and bigger tires, you may have to bend one corner of your skid plate. It didn't sound like a big deal though.

I have one (the the aluminum one) I don't have the bolts to install it (long story don't ask). I'm thinking of selling it though... interested?
