I'm in too for a group buy if the tank replaces the OEM or is an add on second tank. I did buy the Limited because I liked the information center, by changing the tank size I wonder if the DIC will need to be reprogrammed to properly reflect things like miles to zero?
I agree, if I wanted to waste my bed space I'd save myself the $1000 and buy 10 $8 5-gallon gas cans and just drive around with those. With a funnel you can set it on the bed rail and transfer it and not hold it. I want OEM replacement!
For now, I've been happy with the range I get. (~400-450 hwy) It's much better than I imagined, given the 4.30 rear end. That said, I haven't started towing yet, but once the motor goes back in the race car I can imagine the 26gal tank will get annoying very fast. The closest venue to me is 360mi one way, and the rest are all over 1000mi. Doubling the fuel capacity would be a nice improvement.
Hard to believe, it has been a year and still don't have other alternatives to a larger fuel tank, hoping for some good news from somebody!!!!!!!

I put on air bags just after the picture was taken. That picture was in front of the dealer were I bought the camper, drove it home and ordered the air bags. Being as how my truck towes a 5er I would take a in bed tank. The front of my box is a dead zone anyway.
