How long is that trailer? I just bought a 31BHDS which is 35ft long hitch to spare tire. How's it tow?
It's a ST29RL ... 29 feet of living space and 33 feet bumper to hitch. 5800 lbs empty and varies up to 7000 lbs loaded. I upgraded to this last year after owning a 24 foot Aerolite for 3 years.
The Tundra has absolutely no problem pulling it, but you have to watch your turns really closely. I smeared a Freightliner's nose last year, who was pulled way past the stopping line in his left turn lane, while I was making a left turn in front of him. No serious damage to either, but it took $3000 in fiberglass and paint to fix. Expensive lesson!
Handles well on the highway with a Reese Dual Cam sway control / weight distribution system. The handling improved some more after I upgraded my truck tires to E class weight ratings. Pumping them up too near max pressure increases the towing stability immensely.

Kevin,
We were hoping to have a larger replacement tank and in-bed auxiliary tank available by the end of this year. Right now, it looks like we are about two months out from offering these systems due to emissions testing on these tank systems. I’ll keep you email on file and get back to you when we have these two tank systems available for your Tundra.
Thanks!
Warren

We have the updates ready and installed onto our truck. We are looking at releasing a 49 state system
and work on the California system.
We are about 75% complete on a 47 gallon replacement tank and should have this complete mid January.
I don’t have any costs yet but we can work out a group discount to save the forum members money.
I will have to wait to see the final BOM and print before we can come up with costing.
I will have more information first of the year.

BTW, I wonder if this will mean our information centers will need reprogrammed...for it to estimate miles til empty i'm sure it has to have an idea of how big the tank is...

As long as the E/F gauge reads correctly I can survive. I can't wait for the OEM replacement group buy.
I also sent an email and am very interested in the group buy, they just wouldn't make a product if it wasn't in-line with costs of other tanks, yet i'm in with the purchase just the same. I only live about an hour and a half south of Transfer Flow, so i'll have my installed by them. Now lets wait on price and see how happy that makes us all. I still want one, i just hate filling up every day when driving alot, but it beats the cost of my old Diesel, stock they are both similar driven easily they get great mileage, yet lean on that accelerator and the fuel consumption goes away, and the Tundra wins that war easily, still getting better fuel mpg, and not leaving soot trails everywhere, hahaha.
