Count me in on the buy, I also e-mailed Transfer Flow and they were just developing the in-bed fuel tank, a 45+ gallon OEM replacement tank would REALLY be nice! In addition, you would think the more of us that buy one the better deal we should get, and if it is a good product, they cannot buy better advertising than this forum!
BTW, I wonder if this will mean our information centers will need reprogrammed...for it to estimate miles til empty i'm sure it has to have an idea of how big the tank is...
As I posted earlier, I had one in a Duramax and here is what I would expect. It will cost about the same as the other tanks, probably $1,000 give or take. It will protrude lower than the current tank and as much as a few inches below the current side panels. On the Duramax my fuel light came on when I had about ten gallons left. I don't remember if it had a miles to empty feature but I doubt it would work correctly with the new tank (unless you somehow can recalibrate it). Overall I was glad I had mine on the D'max as I towed alot and needed the extra fuel capacity. I will be a little hard pressed to justify that much expense with the Tundra as my towing is limited to a 22' skiff.

I would absolutely like to be included in a group buy if the price is reasonable....if they can show us a substantial discount off the MSRP of their tank. Any word on the non-CA tank date yet?
"We should have the design finalized in the next couple of weeks. This will give us the capacity and costs. I have your email on file so once it is complete I will send you the information on the new tank."
"It is coming very soon."
I alsoCalled (Ben) this week and they are testing one in a Tundra now. I ask him if the fuel gauge read correctly and he said “yes” I also ask him if the range readout on the trip meter worked correctly and he told me that it worked but had to update the “miles to empty” as the tank uses fuel. Works for me!
Do you people think the same way I do about the gas tank being too small? Does any body knows if there is a safe after market option for this purpose?

Sometimes money you may not have want's the point of a few extra gallons and always hacking on the truck your going to stop sooner or later. You can go good bit of way with the 26 gallon tank I can go a little over a week on a tank of gas 50 miles a day some times more. You can get over 300 miles with the tank the truck has. I mean the truck is not a prius you guys like the idea now cause gas is low right now but if it goes back up you guys will be crying about how much it takes to fill up. which means spending at least over a 100 dollars to fill up
