Hey Brad, I'm also in San Angelo and will use Mitchell to make these very same changes to my 08 DC SR5. Do you remember which tech or service adviser you used? I'd love to find one who was familiar with the process.

Shoot me an email to chad at huberplace dot com or maybe a PM if you get a chance.

Gracias!

Chad H.

I sit here and am reading some of these posts concerning pricing on getting these electronic options changed with a laptop.

And now I know why I never do business with my local Toyota dealer here in Baytown, Texas.

I went in to get my passenger seat belt chime turned off cuz it goes off when I have my laptop and other stuff set on it. When asking, I also asked about other features that can be changed after reading on here.

Get this. Their price????? $115 per option change.

This was the 3rd and final strike for Community Toyota of Baytown. I will never do business with or have service done by them. Ever. I told myself when they were trying to screw me with my tacoma that I would never go back, but convenience always got me.

That's rude beyond belief... My dealer in Santa Clarita has never even mentioned money when they have done any techstream changes including activating my alarm. Guess that is why I still go to them for my scheduled maintenance. Probably smart enough to give a little and gain alot.
