DCSB 5.7 SR5 4X4 TRD off-road package
mods: corsa dual split side sport series, TRD CAI, TRD RSB, weathertech front liners, all the way around 5% tint, windshield 35% tint, black headlights
future mods: complete sound system, 22" wheels/tires, front and rear bumpers painted in black, all grilles painted in black, and if i find some nice place to convert to leather seats
wish mods: will be S/C along with big brake kit and JBA headers
NEW ADDITIONS:
Textured paint - rear bumper, front valance, running boards.
Color match - rear views, third brake, head and tail lights.
QTP electric cutouts (Highly recomend these)
Thats already been mentioned in this thread. The rear headlights cannot be removed unless you smash them. Gonna give this mod a go pretty soon.

Ok, I just removed my headlights. A friend of mine that has a Tacoma has done this. I just got off the phone with him. He says he preheated his oven to 275, put in the headlight, then shut off the oven. He left it in for 9 minutes. Do we have to do the same? I searched around but didn't see anything that says this. He says if I leave the oven on, I'll melt the headlight. Please advise.

do you have a gas oven or electric oven? electric ovens have terrible heat distribution. either way, ovens are designed to keep heat. i turned it off after i put my lights in. its ok if its not hot enough, because you can heat it some more if it doesn't come apart. but if you do it too much....well, i dont have to explain the level of a sadness a melted headlight will bring upon you.

only question i have is, with taking the headlight apart and using new adhesive wouldnt this increase my chances of getting that nasty condensation look some headlights get? or would i get that ****ty looking old yellow look on the lense?

Well, crap. I guess I will have to do this , too. maybe this Saturday. It's not that hard, I'm just concentrating on spending my time working on other things with my truck. I guess...two birds, one stone, huh?
