I am still trying to get use to it. It is so much of a change to the front. I really need to address the grill surround and mirrors now. I am even thinking of switching the chrome running boards to the black Rampage version. Then the last thing will be maybe a set of bronze KMC Badlands (with a leveling kit of course).
Hey 006, I new to this forum and interested in seeing the video you make, however, I think the link is no loger valid. Is there a way to still download it somewhere?
Just as an FYI to you and others.... this mod can be done if you already have the Xpel 27mil headlight film installed. I was able to do it on mine without affecting the film. I have attached their spec sheet on the film. Just don't go any higher than 275 on the oven.
On 006's instruction he wrote "Make sure to adjust the rack(s) in your oven and double check that you can get the headlight+cookie sheet in there as high up as possible from the heating element". Question I have is has anyone performed this MOD that had two heating elements in their oven? I have 2 heating elements in my oven, one on top and one on bottom and I heated my oven up to 250 last night to see which element was on I discovered they both were. I would assume I need to just make sure the headlight is completely centered in the oven, left to right and top to bottom. But you know what they say about ASSuming!

I don't know about your oven but mine has two heating elements but they both only come on when the oven is in broil mode. Just be careful if they are both on it may take less time. If possible try to do it with one but with both on just monitor everything carefully! Good luck!

As stated above - BROIL = both elements on; BAKE = one element on (usually the lower). Of course oven brands and types (convection, conventional, etc) are bound to make a difference.

I did my headlights last night and like a dumb@$$ and always in a hurry didn't put the bezels back in the headlight lens properly and ended up scratching the paint on both bezels. It was driving me crazy this morning cuz I didn't notice it until after I had installed the light back on my truck. You would think I would have seen it when I was putting the lights back together, but nooooooooo. I notice it tooo late, so at lunch today I took the lights off my truck and opened them back up. Thats when i found i put them in wrong. I will be taking my time touching them up and putting them back together this time. Besides the chipped paint the headlights looks awesome!!! Can't wait until they're fixed and back on!!!

Don't feel bad Babeo71... I found a tiny spot on my drivers side that flaked.. Must have bumped it when I was putting it back in side the headlight.. I'ts not incredibly noticeable and one day I'll bust it back open and touch it up..
