I am not much for black wheels but I am sure there are others that would look at my Procomp wheels on my truck and say the same about Chrome over Black.
Yep, it is preference. I think chrome makes a truck look like an Old guys truck. I'm not ready to grow old yet.......
I prefer the Black look because it goes with the theme of my truck.
Plus, I just don't like polishing crap every two months......

Don't have to polish chrome, but you do have to polish alum wheels that are not clear coated. I had a set of weld wheels that needed polishing. NO THANKS!! But I bet you will be working on those black wheels a lot more than I work on my chrome wheels.

Your chrome must be different from all the chrome I've had in my 56 years. If you don't clean the brake dust and put on a coat of wax (just like the paint), chrome will start looking like crap in short order.
