yep. i had the same problem when i lowered. behind each headlight is an adjustment slot.

Cool,just went out and did it.What a difference,my stop signs ar NOT lit up on the low beams (like when the high beams hit them) If anybody needs to do it,on my truck,its the lower dial (in front of the battery) on the back of the light housing.Use a phillips head and turn towards the drivers fender (counter clockwise) Same on the passengers side.

Brought mine down about 2"

Practically begged the dealer to do an adjustment...they said no adjustment possible...thanks for the "how to"

I think I lowered mine a little too low....been meaning to re-adjust and this new thread reminded me.

Yep, two dealers said the same thing...have it in writing. Also havin a prob getting em to activate the alarm I paid a bunch of $ for! found that thread and takin that info to the dealer next time too. Arg!

How does Toyota allow these dealers to exist when they give such ridiculous answers. Headlights not adjustable???? WTF???

That is just inexcusable.

I just flash them back! You must have quick reflexes to respond to those drivers who wait until the last second. I suggest the other driver raise his vehicle if an adjustment must be made.
