TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2007 and later Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "Window tint and black headlights DONE!", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
I used Krylon Fusion stain finish black paint. It took 6 hours total to do the headlights, but I am pretty bad at painting so I had to do about 10 coats, because I kept seeing areas I had missed, with 15-30 minutes drying time between coats.
Well done. I need to get my front windows tinted too. Love the black headlight look. I was told by a stranger in a parking lot once that my truck 'looks mean.'

What percentage is the tint? Doesn't look tinted in the first picture...
35 on the front windows, 50 on the windshield. I agree, when I look at my truck the windows look tinted, but looking at the pics the windows don't appear to be tinted. Weird. I think it's because of the snow on the ground reflecting a lot more light through the windows, but I don't know why the camera would pronounce that effect.

Those are actually the OEM tires. So they're along the lines of 275/55R18 I think?
