This is a discussion thread titled "Exhaust tip ???", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
On my old Z71, I had dual exhaust with nice stainless tips, don't know if I want duals on the know 08 trd yet (the wife does!!) but I at least want a nice stainless tip on my pipe, but I have reservations about the factory one, especially how it is mounted and how much it will stick out. My gut tells me to wack off part of the factory pipe and weld on a nice stainless tip of my choice.
Has anyone else done either of the above? If so, some comments please.

I have the factory tip. It fits well, is sturdy, goes on easy, and looks great.
