Default Anyone with LB and Toyota bedliner- help?

I need a favor..... I need a measurement of of the interior bed length with the tailgate closed if you have the Toyota bedliner. I need to be able to carry an 8' ladder on it's side against the wheel well. I haven't measured the length of the ladder when it's closed, but it easily fit in my F250 with bedliner, so I assumed it would fit in my new Tundra, but it didn't.

I bought my Tundra from a SET dealer and they all apparently use the Permaguard brand liner. The problem is I cant close the tailgate with my 8' stepladder in the bed. Not carrying it is not an option. I need to be able to close the gate with the ladder on it's side to allow room for other materials.

I have taken a quick look at the Toyota liner and the way it's formed at the front end looks like it might give me a little more room.... also, the tailgate piece doesn't look as thick at the Permaguard brand. That's why I'm thinking a Toyota bedliner might give me the clearance I need. Before I order a Toyota branded liner from my local dealer, I need to make sure I can carry my ladder. Before everyone starts recommending removing the liner and spraying Line-X, I've already done it. But I need the bedliner so I can easily slide materials in/out.

Neither of my local dealers have LB trucks, and I travelled about 30 min to my closest SET dealer and they all had Permaguard liners. So I'm begging for help from forum members.

Thanks in advance!

Here you go;

96 1/2" Max with measuring tape at the bottom of the Liner against the wheel well. Bear in mind there appears to be a slope to the bed liner slightly inwards at the cab end but then it has a step out up by the rail if you know what I mean. I also measured just below the step out section say 2/3rds of the way up from the bottom and it was 96" Max.

David in CA who loves his LB and would not buy anything less.

I might be in a bit of a pinch then. I'll need to measure the ladder, but I'm sure the ladder is slightly longer than 96" when it's closed. I may end up having to remove the liner all together.

Thanks!

Dude, PLEASE let your ladder fit, because I have the Toyota bedliner and want to get it Line-Xed too and want to be sure the liner fits over the LineX. Please let us know. And maybe you could go $%@!s out and see if you can get LineX to fit under the rail caps too.

Oh, and I too have a long bed and really appreciate the extra load carrying ability!
