Default ATV Ramps recommendation

Can anyone recommend a good set of ATV ramps that they've used with their Tundra?

I have a 650 Prairie, and I'd like to haul it in the bed so I can leave the trailer at home.

I'll most likely remove the tailgate prior to loading, so I'm interested in a pair of ramps that don't hit the bumper.

Thanks,
-Matt

I bought a ramp kit from Home Depot and made my own.
2 pieces of 5/8" 12 ply birch stacked, then had them Line-Xed for traction and longevity.

The place I used to work used a type of Line-X product for Concert Loudspeaker systems, so it was free.

I have one of the aluminum tri-folds, as well. I went with a 7' ramp (there was a 6' option, as well) and I LOVE the thing. Its plenty wide enough that my Polaris Sportsman 450 fits on it with no trouble. Mine also came with a pair of ratcheting straps you can use to secure the ramp to your trailer hitch safety chain hookups while you have the ramp deployed. Keeps it from sliding away from the tailgate while you're driving up and down.

I've also got a set of folding, steel ramps I bought from Sears forever ago. I don't like them as much because they are too steep, very heavy and bulky, and a PITA to get lined up straight. IMHO, go with an aluminum tri-fold.
I bought mine from the same dealer where I bought the Polaris. I'm sure you can get them at any local ATV dealership.

No damaged tailgates yet? Mine is cracking slightly from loading my quad with a bifold ramp.

carefull guys with those tri folds or anything like them.
here is my story on those.
6 years ago i was loading a new honda xr650 into the bed of my 2000 tundra. i walked it up to the top and my foot slipped at the very top. my foot went into the center between the runs and caught as i fell off the side. i ended up with a dislocated ankle broken ankle broken leg it took several screws to put my ankle back together and 6 screws and a steel plate to put my leg back to gether. i spent 6 months recovering and to this day it's still not right i'm classified as disabled and will have to go through a bone graft due to my leg bone dying from this injury. i walk with a cane now and will more than likely never be able to ride again although i have managed a 4 wheeler.
I would stay well away from anything that was not a solid ramp just my opinion and a heads up to all.

Ouchie. Sorry to hear about your fall, man! I've come close to doing the same thing, myself. Good point, though - if you are going to get a bi- or tri- fold, make sure you are DRIVING up and down the ramp - not walking!

Driving up sounds like a worse accident waiting to happen. Those ramps like to slip off the tailgate. Or even better when the bike flies into the bed of the truck.

If you use the cinch-straps and tie the ramp to the bumper or trailer hitch, they won't slide. I can't speak for driving a bike up & down the ramps, but I've not had any trouble with my ATV. I put it in low range and just slowly drive it right up the ramp.

Yep, all those ramps come with tie down straps/chains........you can see them being used in the picture above. If you don't use them............well duh.
