does engine immobilizer light still blink after doors are locked?

8000 miles on my truck and i swear today is the first day i noticed the light even after changing radios with the key out several times.anyhow i noticed the light kept blinking even after i locked the doors at work today and it was still blinking when i got off work is this normal?or is it supposed to stop after the doors are locked?

Yes, its normal. It blinks all the time when the engine is off. It will go solid for about 30 seconds after you lock the doors, then start to blink again. Its supposed to deter a would be thief by announcing that there's "something" alive in there.

thanks guys i was freaking there for a little bit.i still can't understand how i missed a blinking red light in plain view.just love struck with the tundra i quess.
