ive had my new truck for a month love it but ,,,, i have a weird low pich- oscollating vibration at 60-70 mph the dealer has replaced the driveshaft , tires , and right rear axle, no change im going nuts, it is in the running gear you can go down the road hearing it and turn the engine off and no change.
ive read the other forums about transfer cases, mines 2wd i swear its the drive shaft the vibration is about 2000-3000 rpm.........after everything now toyota says thats how they are, bs.bs.bs.................

Does the dealer confirm you have a problem and have you drove others on the lot with NO vibration??

If they cant find it start the lemon law and get your truck replaced with another one. Start this now cause its a process and the earlier you get going.......

How fast are the oscillations? Does it change when turning left or right? I guess at 60 to 70 MPH, you won't really be turning all that much. Does it make any noise at lower speeds?

I just went through a similar thing. Mine was the front differential which was replaced, but obviously, that isn't the problem here. However, it might be the rear differential. My front diff was making a "wu wu wu" sound at certain speeds and was cycling at the same rate the wheels were turning. I would imagine a rear diff is capable of the same problem.

the oscollations are on about a 1-2 second pattern lasting for1-2 seconds , i can hear it momentarily at about 40 mph and then starts at 63 mph thru 72 mph , it will do it all the time it doesnt matter what you do if your driving around 67 mph you can hear it . pulling a trailer makes it a little worse. forget the warrenty i took my truck to a drivline specailist today , all they do is driveshafts, they drove it and put it on a lift and ran it at all speeds and said they are almost shure the rear aluminum drive shaft is out of balance. there going to computer balance the drive line in the morning. at this point i am so mad at toyota im willing to spend my own money , before i lemon law the truck.

Make sure you check your warranty paperwork.
I believe you can have service performed by anyone.
As long as you have paperwork to submit and the price is what Toyota considers reasonable, you should get reimbursed.

Check on it, or even call Toyota directly.
It seems some people just have to sidestep their crappy dealers.
I like my dealer and they do a good job of keeping it that way, but I feel for you guys that have to put up with this nonsense.

I would have them change the drive line out of a new on the lot to see if that is the problem. It is hard to say at this point, but who knows, it could be a bad tire. I had a 07 Chevy Avalanche that had a very similar problem and it turned out to be the stainless steel exhaust that had a bad drone to it before it got heated up. Stainless steel expands quite a bit with different temps. I don't know, I am just throwing out some things to check.

sorry , been away , ok the driveshaft balance actually made it a bit worse if anything , i called the driveline shop and they said they would balance it again for free if ide like ?????????? now just tonight i put the truck on jackstands got underneath the truck while my wife drove it (dont worry i used many safty precautions) as far as i can tell i beleave it could be in the rear end , i put a dail cal. on the pinoin flange it has less than 0.002 movment, i would have toyota try for a rear diff. , but they basicly say theres not a problem, the most frustrating part of all is everybody a the dealership looking at you like your from mars.....maybe ill let the drivshaft quys double check there work,

When it is making the noise at speed, does the noise continue if you let off the gas? Most rear end problems will get quiet off the gas and noisy on the gas. If it keeps making noise off the gas, how about if you slip it into neutral? Not sure how much it would help, but at least you can stop some parts from spinning, and if the noise suddenly changes, you might have a better idea what to look at.
