Default Tundra Winch Bumper Prototype

Hi, Everyone,

Been a member for a few months and actually got a lot of help from this forum on figuring out my alarm and what lift I want to go with.

I am posting now, because I approached Kennesaw Mountain Accessories about a front bumper for the 2007+ Tundra. Kyle said they need a vehicle to make one. So he is is building me a bumper free of charge with fogs, driving lights, and a winch box. That being said, I have read the many posts on other forums (Chevy, Ford, Nissan, TTORA, etc.) about his company and how they have no customer service and when bumpers are delivered, they don't fit and he will not make the bumper right without a lot of hassle and customer paying the huge delivery fees of a 100+ lb bumper.

My question to you is if anyone has had experience with actually going to Kennesaw Mountain Accessories and having the bumper made and fit on-site. The few posts that I have found of people going to their shop have been happy. I want to see what you guys think, as far as experience, if any with onsite installation.

Thanks

I don't see what you have to lose if it's free, maybe just time. To be safe you could tell them not to install it until you check it out and if you don't like it they can sell it.

I was considering that too.
I like their design of the tow hitch in the bumper as well. So I could somehow rig up a winch to to tow hitch reciever and use it not only in the front, but also the back. I also was thinking of somehow putting a reciever in the bed to help with loading.
I wish you good luck, and I wish you have good experiences, and let me know. Most likely I'll be right behind you. I also would like them to fabricate rock sliders similar to the custom one made in this post earlier.

Please PM me about your experience there.

James
