This is a discussion thread titled "Hunting and/or Fishing mods", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
I want to add a gun storage location and some rod holders to my truck. NO I am not putting the rack on the back window. I was thinking a storage box idea for the bed to keep everything out of site that I could lock for the guns and a rocket launcher to integrate into the bed track system. Any body done this or have any suggestions. Pics would be great if you got em!

but as far as the rod mounts are concerned...your only options are usually the front bumper/grill, or on the toolbox in the bed...i havent seen them anywhere else...

When I said rocket launcher I meant a style of rod holder that many people have on the T-top of their center console boats. Some guys in SC have them bolted to their tool boxes. I have a crewmax and I may or may not add a tool box due to the limited bed space.
Look above my buddies heads in the pic. The rocket launcher is the series of holders on the t-top that point the rods up in the air.

Hey how did you know the tide came in on us..... We passed out in the lawn chairs and woke up sitting in water...just kidding, but it has happend before in my old 4runner.
We were down near San Luis Pass on the Galveston Island side.
Caught some reds the weekend before though...from the pier.
