Default Power Folding Mirrors

I have read thru all the posts that I can find for the powered folding mirrors, but it still doesn't answer my question.

I have an '08 Tundra Grade DC with the heated side mirrors. I have to manually pull them in to fit in my garage(GRR!!!), is it possible for me to have the powered folding mirrors??? at a decent price???

Anything is possible depends on how much effort you are willing to put in.

Those Limited mirrors cost major bucks at the dealer not including the switch. Or... here's a driver side on ebay now

eBay Motors: TOYOTA TUNDRA 07 08 OEM L CHROME MIRROR (item 230215589017 end time Jan-29-08 20:45:00 PST)

driver side mirror isn't the problem, reaching across my 40/20/40 seats to pull the passenger side mirror is! i would think since they already have power to move and to be heated, that really all that is missing is the motor to turn them. but i guess i'm gonna have to pull the switch out to see if it is wired like previous posts have suggested?

aspec: what kinda effort are we talking? i've seen the posts where the cost is over 3k, obviously it's not worth that, but if i can buy the two mirrors and the switch, i'm willing to do it, even if i had to get a little custom work done, i know some guys/i can do it.

There will be substantial wiring modifications and additions.
You simply do not have the correct wiring on your truck.
Then add in the cost of the mirror, switch to fold, and switch to heat (if you want that too).
Here are pictures of my Limited, with the power folding, auto-dimming, heated, power adjusting mirrors.
1st pic is the mirror connection.
2nd is the switch (fold and adjust) connection.
Compare the wiring to yours and you will see just how different they are...
Good Luck

by substantial, you mean costly? i have a buddy of mine who does customization work and he would prob do it for free if i asked him,(just for the challenge), but the problem is i don't know how much the cost of the parts would end up being, i know the mirrors are what ~400 each?

No, not costly, except for the cost of the parts (parts $1000? if bought new, but you may find a trade, try the classified in this forum).

By substantial, I mean alot of wiring work , or replacing the exsisting harnesses ($$$)
You are going to have to trace and add like 9 or 10 wires to each side to get them working.
Some guys are good at this stuff and some are not so good.
Personally, I wouldn't be afraid to try it, but alot of guys would and should be afraid.

If you can acquire the parts it should be plug and play with maybe some modifications depending on the model you have.
