This is a discussion thread titled "07 Rear Speakers for -Standard- Cab", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
I just got my '07 Tundra with the 6-disc/4-speaker setup and it has a fader control but no rear speakers. As a handyman, I carry tons of tools on the back floor, so what options do I have for mounting speakers back there other than floor boxes? I just want filler sound and have bought some 4" 3-ways. (As a recovering Audiophile, y tinnitus prevents me from enjoying music the way I used to so the $20 pair of Roadmasters from Schucks will do fine. -sigh-) They'll need 1-3/4" of mounting depth. I haven't had the door panels or any of the rear plastic paneling sections off yet, so clues to their removal will be appreciated, too. TIA
Here is a PDF that you may find useful for the RC door.I have also included a PDF for fixing the RC door,it looks as though it is made a little differently than the other models.
I will look to see if I can find something that talks about how to remove the rear storage panels.

Skyhammerz, thanks for sharing those. Where did you get those PDFs from? Is that from an e-shop manual? I would love to have a copy of that. I've owned a set of shop manuals for almost every vehicle I've owned, of the last half dozen or more. They certainly come in handy.
