Billet Grill arrived and installed with Pics..

I did the black one with the bumper inserts and the piece that goes on the hood and love it. I wanted the brushed look but my wife bought me the black for christmas on accident but now I am glad she did.

Okay I think I may eventualy pull it off and hit it with some black spray paint. I did a quick photochop of it with just blackout grill and leaving the emblem chrome and I also did a quick color match on the chrome mirror part to see how that looked to. So far its starting to grow on me some.
What do you guys think ?? leave it alone or go with the blackout look ??

The black looks better IMO and would look really sweet wit the blacked out headlights. Seems like I remember there was someone here that did that to their DC, it may be in the gallery somewhere.

Those mirrors are NICE! Wonder how Blue Streak Tow Mirrors with the outer housing part painted would look?

If your door handles were still chrome, I'd leave the mirrors chrome. Since the handles are blue, the mirrors should be colormatched, no doubt about it.

The hyperblack logo would look awesome on anything BUT the aluminum grille. The silver washes out the effect. The hyperblack emblem will look hot with a stock grille or black billet.

I actually like both colors - the aluminum goes with your headlights, foglights, and other chrome. The black on the other hand looks cleaner overall and lets the blue streak have the spotlight.

I don't like the boltover at all. It shows all the stock grille activity underneath, doesn't sit flush enough, and I think the grille bars gets too busy around the logo. I think the stock grille is cleaner than the boltover, actually...

that grille looks great. nice install. you're completely happy with the up-close quality of the grille? this is one of the better looking installs i've seen.
