TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2007 and later Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "Anyone here has V6 07 Tundra's?", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
Anyone has a v6 07 tundra here that could give me an info of what they have. Like, do they have a front fender emblems like the V8's? Do they comes in DC or CM? Do they comes in TRD? Do they have a different front facia? Pardon me for I never seen one even on the lot the time I was buying.
I've seen some that have the "fleet" look to them. No emblems, black plastic front facia (not painted, just plastic), std cab. Never seen a DC.

That's the rare, elusive 5.7SP (Sleeper Pkg) granny uses to pick up extra C-notes on the way to bingo. Due to declining Social Security benefits, these husbandless bluehair's prey upon unsuspecting GM, Ford, Nissan, Dodge, and with no remorse, even Tundra Access Cabs and Double Cabs owners for supplemental income....................beware..
The ones I have seen around here are single cab, short bed with few options. The dealer did have a DCSB V6, so they do exist...I noticed there was no tachometer, I thought that to be strange...But the single cab setup does make for a good looking truck...The V6 is rated at more power than nearly all small V8s were just a few years ago....I would assume it to have sufficient power and probably better mileage...
I own an 07 DC Tundra with the v6... It has more than enough power for me (since I don't tow anything) and it does have a tach. Infact it looks just like the v8 without the badge on the side. It also does not come with the tow hitch...
Incidently I get about 20 -22 mpg on the highway (when I keep it under 70).

A v-6 would be very under powered in a crewmax or double cab and would not be a good
trying to pull that extra weight. Trying to get these real small engines in big trucks isn't
going to cut the bread. To me you need at least 4.7L or bigger in a Tundra. Not to many V-6 people on here.
