Default JBA cat-back sound clips. . .

Does anyone know where to find one on a 5.7? I'm thinking about this system, but I have to hear it before I buy.

Don't have a sound clip but I had the system on my 5.7 and removed it because of the drone. Well, drone IMO. I've heard some folks on here say they love it so hopefully you can find some sound clips. To me, and I've driven trucks with both, it sounds a little louder than the TRD system and has more drone than the TRD system. A lot of folks seem to love Zoomers as it gives deep sound when needed without that awful drone.

For what its worth, the JBA sounded a lot like my flowmaster 50series. I have a clip of it on youtube. just search tundra flowmaster and you should find it. IMO the flowmaster has less drone at 1500-2000rmps but again, sound is subjective.

As far as performance, I did feel low end loss with the JBA but gained it back in the mid to upper rpm range. Good luck.

how did you do the 50 series? Did you just buy a muffler and have a shop weld it in?

no, i bought the complete bolt on system for around $475. the company was in florida and i think it was called 21st century exhaust. i put a lot of info in here about it. do a search for "flowmaster 17443" and you should find info on it. or start by clicking on the links below.
