TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2007 and later Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "Your ideal accesorized tundra for under $4000.00", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
I pick up my new radiant red crew max on Saturday. After months of research on numerous other trucks and weeks of waiting after ordering my perfect truck I am left with the next complicated decision; How to accesorize my truck? I've read here in the forums for a few months now about different things you all have done to your tundra. Now I would like to know what each of you would do or have already done to accesorize your truck for under $4000.00 bucks. If this is something you have already did, I think everybody would love to see pic's and what it cost you to do each item. I hope this can help me and anybody else needing suggestions and help in building their perfect Tundra.

Wheels & Tires, new color matched grille, 3" ToyTec lift. Intake & Exhaust are on the next. (I'm not counting the topper, cause it was a necessity for work). I'll probably replace the stock speakers and "subwoofer" at some point in the future, but not a high priority right now.

Do you really care what truck I have or what mods I've done? Probably not, but here they are any way:
Loaded 07 LTD 4x4 DC 5.7. ARE Cap, Yakima Rack, Toytec 3" Lift, ProComp 8166 Wheels, Nitto Terra Grappler 305/55/20's, Bullhide Spray-In Liner, Volant CAI, Black Headlight Mod, Zoomers Cat back exhaust.
Still to Come: Headers? Speaker/Sub upgrades? What else? Supercharger........? I'm sure I'll think of something.

321GO,great color choice,i am picking up mine in radiantred this week too, doublecab, not the GIANT like yours,LOL,good luck with it.I am going to do an exhaust and diff tires for now,but may add some stuff later,so my initial investment will be alot less than $4000

Oh, yeah. I forgot my spray in liner. It's bullhide which is similar to Rhino. Did that for work, too, though. In fact. All my mods are for work. After all, this is a "company" truck.
