you can get TRD intake and exhaust but the dealer must install it to keep you officially under warranty. Tires, you can get whatever brand you want.

You can still put whatever you want from whatever brand you want on the truck and it technically would still be under warranty as long as you can prove that the part did not have any detrimental effect on the future failed warranty items. For instance if you put on a Volant intake and your radio stops working, they will fix your radio without any complaint. But if you say you get some dirt or water or whatever in your intake manifold or something goes wrong with your throttle body, they are going to blame it on the Volant, even if its not the Volant's fault.

nothing voids the warranty...unless it is found to have caused the issue. it is as simple as that.

Sounds like the bases were covered. Things that the dealership CANNOT EVER give you sh*t about are exhaust and tires. However, even one of my local dealers hung up the phone on me. I absolutely despise that dealership and will never do a lick of business with them unless it's warranty work (and they have some of that to do for me when I get back in town).

CAI shouldn't void any warranty at all either. The guy told me behind the counter that realistically no part of the warranty will be voided except for the warranty on the particular CAI. The TuRD CAI will be covered under warranty that the Toyota dealership will replace.

The best thing to do is to talk to your dealer about the CAI. All dealerships will be different and some will be extremely difficult.
