Thanks 300. I wrote this in the other post also about the back seat mod, a quick how-to:
Yeah, it was me. I know a few others have blazed this trail before me but its a simple mod. To take the back seats out undo the floor bolts (9/16). There are also some (9/16) bolts on the lower back wall and a couple holding the seatbelts to the floor. Lift the seats straight up at first to make sure the hooks release. Have a friend help you take them out of the truck, theyre not heavy just very tough to get out alone.
Once out fold them in half and find the 4 black hooks on the back of the upper rests. Near the bottom of the hooks you'll see some very small holes. Make your cut right above that hole (above meaning the hole should come off too). Cut at a slight angle, the same angle that was there to begin with. Put the seats back in and give it a try. You'll notice that when you raise the lower part up, the upper part slides up as well. When it gets to a certain point the upper portion will now fold down. Took me about 20 minutes to do this mod. Sorry I didnt take any pictures, but someone here did when they did it. Maybe he'll chime in.
For those wondering, there is plenty of room for amps back there. I have 2 amps, 2 crossovers, Sirius tuner and 2 distribution blocks going back there and they are fitting just fine.
And heres the link to my original post 300 was referring to. Theres a couple pics in there showing just how much room is behind the seats:
