no more chrome

i am sick of the chrome and i want to get my bumpers, bed and grille done with line-x xtra in black...someone on here has done it before, but different color truck...let me here some opinions, sorry about the rough picture, wish i had photoshop, but paint will have to do

I think it would look better in silver. The black breaks up the lines and makes it look like a base model, IMO. However, I still like the black better than chrome for your particular truck.

I think your truck looks damn good the way it already is. I say leave it the way it sits. Just my opinion.

thanks...tried silver but liked the black better, matched the wheels...where in NJ are you, i just got orders to McGuire AFB

chrome has to go...rusting already and i'm moving back to the northeast where they use alot of salt

Man, this truck looks better every time I see it! I do have to say I prefer color matching the grill, but black bumpers would be cool. Request someone to photoshop it for you!

I'm halfway between Philly and Atlantic City. If we can rustle up a Northeast Tundra meet, hopefully you can come!

Color match the grill, or the black will make it look like a base model. The bumpers in black would be interesting, but I'm not sure.

I'm getting the rear bumper on my truck powder coated black, but I have a black truck.

truck gets alot of abuse though...line-x will last alot longer...besides went to the dealer and they can do a really fine texture

I would go with something in between black and body color. How about a dark grey / charcoal?

Definitely, I'm not sure we've even had a Tundra meet up here at all!

How crazy does color matched line-X sound??? Can they do it and what thickness are they planning with that fine texture? I was unaware they can do different textures...sounds like trout to me.
