Post Who thinks they got the best deal on there Tundra?? Stop in.

Just wanted to put a fun post up to see who got the best deals on the new tundras. Can be new or used. Here is my story, i work at a toyota dealership, guy traded in his 07 2wd for a 4wd, in the army moved here from the carolinas to north missouri said he couldnt make it without having 4wd here, so i bought it for what we gave him.
Details:
07 Blue Streak sport package Double Cab SR5 Tundra.
SR5 package, with alloy 18 in addition. 4k miles when i bought it

Paid $19800 .

I think i did pretty good . Lets here some stories guys/girls, interested to hear of some other great scores.

I don't think I'll win for the lowest price lol but mine was $37k out the door. Picked mine because it was the only one at three Toyota dealers in the area at the time that had the NAV system and upgraded JBL 440w system with the in dash CD player. Also picked mine because it had the 5.7 and also the nice center console with 6spd tranny and not the bench seat across with the steering column shifter. Oh also the tow mirrors were something I liked about my truck because of the added visibility and they just looked better IMO. I also wanted a dark interior and preferably cloth and I got exactly that...black cloth interior. Also had the dealer throw in some Tundra rubber mats and the bed liner on them.

...Forgot to mention mine was brand new and had 7 miles on the odo when I drove it off the lot...

I got a 07/white/DC/TRD/SR5/5.7/2wd for 28.5, certainly doesnt beat your good deal Mike, but I also dont work at a dealership either!

I got mine cause it has black leather and of the 8 dealerships i looked for in and around the Houston area, i only found one other w/ black leather and it was on a red truck and i really didnt want red, i was actually looking for black cloth and the dealer said that had it so when i came to look at the truck, for the third time, it was in fact black leather and I made them give it to me for the cost of cloth. Sick deal, couldnt pass it up, i wrote down the numbers i wanted and they matched.

I bought mine my last 2 trucks from Team Toyota in PA.My 2008,my 3rd thru them, i just got yesterday-I always get them for $200 over dealer invoice, and this one was a locate from another dealer,so they went to get it.So $200 over invoice on a locate is great...But....it gets even better.I live in NJ,and when they worked up the deal and payments, they calculated 6% PA sales tax,vs my 7% nj sales tax,it was a difference of $150 or so,and when they realized they messed up,they didnt argue, they reduced the price by about $150 to keep my pymt the same.So i basically got it for $50 over invoice! Plus factor in the 2.9% 60 month term i got,and the 5yr/75K Platinum top of the line warranty i got for $800(i sell dodges, and their similar warranty DEALER COST is about the same or higher,so i would have spent a couple hundred more on a dodge warranty, and thats me being a dodge employee)So i was happy, and treated well, and I love the truck! THE FATTEST TRUCK EVER MADE! It is RADIANT RED-Sweet! Thats why they had to locate it,there were very few radiant red ones out there.

Just remember,A GOOD DEAL IS A STATE OF MIND,and even if you didnt get such a great deal, you are still driving the best truck on earth!

Got an 08 double cab, cold weather kit, deck rails, lame dealer added appearance package, 2wd, black cloth bench, 4.7, 14 miles on the odometer, $25K. Not too bad. I'm happy about it.

Toyota would have to be giving 10K off to get off the lot for that price. Without Navigation.
