Default Anyone else fed up with buying wheels!!!!

I am over it, I've been searching for a couple of months now for a nice set of 22" for my truck.

I got nothing I like.

I am looking for something with a lip, not chrome, offset in the teens.

Just insane these trucks have been out for a year now and still a small amount of wheels available.

Oh well thats my rant.

If it causes you that much stress, maybe it's not worth the pursuit...?

Well there could be better options out there, on ALL tundra aftermarket stuff.

When TRD offers HALF the stuff out there, then we have limited options indeed.

Some shops will order them and then do the drilling for lug pattern themselves. Check in to this after you find some 22" wheels that you like. California seems to have a number of shops that do this.......

Dual straight out the back 2 in and 2 out exhaust, TRD CAI, and maybe a leveling kit. If I win the lottery, a supercharger will fit nicely.

Yeah well I haven't waste time, so it is worth pursuit to me, just cuz I hate how deep my wheels sit in my fender flares now.

Plus I am doing the toytec 3" kit soon.

It just sucks, I got the money saved up for wheels, and they are not gonna be cheap. And I can't find anything I like.

Most of those blank wheels have a cap that covers the lug nuts, that isn't my taste.

I found like 3 sets I do like, and in my budget, but the offsets are not aggressive enough for me.

Oh well.

Just venting, go on with your days, just seeing if it was only me...

you can always save up more money and go with custom billet wheels. there are many companies out there that will custom tailor the wheels to whatever size & offset you need. all you have to do is cough up the dough or just wait if you're cheap j/k.

Another worthless comment!

Just keep looking. I am. I want a black painted or powder coated center with a polished lip in 18". Now go find me some....

It's frustrating to me too. You see the same couple sets of rims all the time because there just aren't enough available! It's either the Ulta Goliaths, BMF Novakanes, or those five spoke Pro Comps...

I was pretty frustrated, but finally settled on the 5 spoke ProComps, black with a polished face (instead of chrome or Knight chrome). I'm pretty happy with the choice. And I do like the new offset.

Still to Come: Headers? Speaker/Sub upgrades? What else? Supercharger........? I'm sure I'll think of something.
