Default Anyone running JBA Exhaust?

They seem to have the best deal going. $440 for dual side exit. Never had JBA on any of my vehicles. Just curious if anyone had any likes or dislikes about them.

I read from some one on here that the JBA has a wicked drone.

Default Re: Anyone running JBA Exhaust?

ive had my jba on for a couple of weeks now. Paid more than half that price since I got lucky and found some one in austin wanting to sell it to go to duals. My MPG have gone down not because of the exhaust but because my foot likes to hear it roar. the only negative thing is that it has a slight droan from 65 to 68ish so if i need to cruise that speed i'll keep it in fifth. but if im over 70mph then its not as noticeable. Dont know if this has anything to do with the exhaust but on a recent 2 hour trip i was able to get 20mpg, of course i was kinda feathering it cause i wanted to see how good it could be if i didnt drive it like i stole it.

Thanks for the responses. I have read about the drone myself, however for the price I think I will give it a chance. JBA has the dual side exit on their site for $440 shipped but I'll shop around before ordering. Anymore suggestions or insight would be appriciated.

I bought mine in November from Autoanything for $419.95 delivered. I don't think they carry them anymore. I had them installed at a local exhaust shop for an additional $100. Personally I like mine. Maybe I am lucky but I have never detected a drone. In my opinion they are pretty subtle in terms of sound. But with the TRD CAI when you pounce they growl. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The duals come out behind each wheel with the JBA exhaust, right?

I believe it they come out behind each wheel. The JBA website dual swept side exit. I would prefer they come out the same side. I will give them a call check. Also thanks you guys for the ebay ads.

Not a bad exhaust for the money. I had it, took it off and replaced it with a flowmaster 50series. It was just too much drone for me. Now that I'm pushing 40 things like that bother me more but 15-20 years ago, it wouldn't have bothered me. I lost bottom end but gained mid-top end with the JBA.

What did the Flowmaster do for you in terms of power?

seat of the pants feels better on take-off/at launch. top end doesn't feel as strong as the JBA but it's not a huge difference either way IMO.
