TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2007 and later Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "Finally have some pics of the (dirty) truck . . .", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
I finally got some pics of the truck. The ones on the dirt road were taken yesterday after I got the new tires - had to try them out
The other pic was taken today. It would have been better but the darn sun kept hiding behind the clouds. Sorry about the dirty truck; it's supposed to rain tonight, so there is no reason to wash it yet.
Re: Finally have some pics of the (dirty) truck . . .
I have the same wheels. I was wondering what size and brand tires you have? I have thought and thought and thought about getting a wheel upgrade, but seeing yours with those tires makes me reconsider.
Re: Finally have some pics of the (dirty) truck . . .
I have a 3" lift that I got off ebay. It was $260 shipped, and it is actually good quality. The tire's are BFG 305/65R18's. I was goind to get different wheels, but there are so few out there that fit out trucks so I am going to wait a while until the aftermarket catches up a bit.
Here is the lift I bought. They don't have any listed right now, but if you are interested I'm sure you could contact them and ask for one.

Don't feel bad about the dirt. I caked the fender wells full of mud today getting up to the top of a small mountain after some snow melt. It's a truck dude, they're supposed to get dirty.
