Default Type of Oil

So my truck has about 4600 miles on it now, and when i turn the truck on the engine maintenence light blinks a couple times and turns off, so i'm guessing it's time for my first oil change. In the manual it says for the 5.7 to use 5w-20 or 0-w20 and recomends the 0w-20... but that one is like 6 bucks a quart (mobil 1 brand). So i got the quaker state 5w-20, will that work fine and not harm the mileage too bad?
