TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2007 and later Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "Buildiing the Ultimate Tundra", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
If money wasn't a issue, what would be your version of a ultimate tundra.
List the best of the best! And remember that we all have different opinions. Think of performance and style. Wheels, intake, color, ect... Im buying a Tundra in 3 weeks and I have alot of money to put into this truck. If I like your ultimate tundra. I will build it! And post the pics to see your creation. This could be fun. And I feel it will help other tundra owners get some ideas they never thought of. Hope you have fun with this.
Kore Lift Kit 3in front and 1in rear
Mickey Thompson MTZ tires 33x12.5x18 on Dick Cepek Wheels
Smitty Built Chrome Nerf Bars
12k Warn Winch
K&N Cold Intake
Exhaust and Header (Brand Unknown at this time)
Thats it! I want my rig to be old school, functional for towing, hauling off road and every day driving.
I'd keep it simple.
First, buy the truck configuration you want
Next, buy everything that TRD offers for it
Lifted 4x4s are fine but I'd like a street truck, with the TRD lowering kit and suspension. Intake and Exhaust are a must, but a Spercharger would be great.
