TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2007 and later Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "Extremely Mad", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
Just got done doing the leveling kit on the truck, got my custom rear valance last week and exhaust was going to get that all installed this week so was in a great mood till last night. Some A$$hole decided last night that he would KEY my passenger side from end to end. I hate people that do this type of $hit, they are low life people. I wish i could have caught whoever did this in the act. Hopefully i might be able to get my body shop at work to fix it up for relatively cheap, but i really think it is just going to need repainted sad part is my deductable on insurance is 1k. Sorry had to rant extremely mad someone would to this to my new truck.

I totally understand brother. The problem is we drive a wide load and some a-holes decide we get to close to their crap and then do what they have to do. I try to park way far away from people like that or any other cars. Sorry to hear about your misfortune and maybe we should make a pact to kick some butt whenever we see someone doing this or at least get the police involved. Good luck Mike.
I know that feeling you have right now. My Expedition got keyed at a bball game last year sometime and I was FURIOUS. They did a real number to it. Woulda had to paint half the car to fix it and my deductible is 1k too.
Needless to say, we didn't fix it as it's a '98. It was the best car we ever owned too, and I stand behind that statement.
Either way man, I hate that feeling you have right now. Eventually your anger will wear off but I always felt like my Expy was violated. Best you can do is get it fixed and move on. Good luck finding out who did it.
worse than that. Its blue streak and where they keyed it is DEEP and is just white, so yeah very mad doubt i'll ever be able to find out who did it as it happened at a parking lot while eating dinner at Olive Garden.
.
Several years (5 to 10 years) ago in a South Pacific country they "caned" some American kid(s) for vandalizing some fancy cars there. (wet , split bamboo switch soaked in water as a switch is good for a few licks on their back, legs and or azz.
The American Govt was all up in arms over it ... but I am glad that they beat the young punk's azz.. ...
People who key (scratch) cars are at the bottom of my list.
Sorry for the rant ... it just makes me nuts to see any vehicle vandalized.
I was remarking to a friend this week on how many new vehicles that we have seen keyed in the Atlanta area lately and MOST of them seem to be SHINNY BLACK ones too.
I would like to see them caned in the village square (in front of a big crowd) when they are caught.

My deductable is so high to keep insurance costs down (22year old with one accident) otherwise it would be lower. IDK just extremely mad its hard to explain it in words.
AH I'm sorry to hear that man. If it's deeper than mine then damn they musta gotten down da*n close to the metal.
Does Olive Garden have any security tapes? Hey, it's worth a shot. Especially considering it's a huge job to repaint a car like this.

I havent called them to ask but i dont think it would make a difference, i was parked in the middle of there lot between them and Red lobster with about 150 others cars (7Pm on Saturday night). I was just gettin ready to order some new wheels now i have to put the money into gettin the truck repainted or whatever is necesarry because of some low life d!ck head
Personally, I think this keying stuff has to do with perceived domestic vs import issues. I happened into a conversation in the wal-mart parking lot with two guys heading to their Ford, and they basically wanted to rip the Tundra - and me personally for buying it.
