Default lower plastic cover up

Hi,
Does anyone know if you can purchase a chrome or paint matched piece to cover the plastic below the grill between the fog lights, I think it would look sharp to cover the plain plastic.
any ideas??

I've painted mine and Northface painted his. I think it looks much better. I've heard that it is not recommended because it will chip and or crack but I have had no problems with mine and as far as I know neither has Northface. Keep in mind that we both live in pretty harsh climate, plow through snowbanks and drive on roads that our government puts rocks on and then they're constantly kicked up onto your vehicle by other traffic. Make sure to use a good flex agent. That is what my paint guy recommends. I'd say go for it. I think it should be like that from the factory.

What kind of paint did you use? I know someone on here used spray paint designed for plastic, but I thikn I'd like something more durable.

Also, how long has yours been painted? Just trying to get an idea about longevity of the paint.

i wouldnt use spray if your color matching, i used factory colors with lots of flex agent and such, had mine on about 3 months and 4000km, so far no chips and like goodlife said were on roads with pea gravel and lots of other crap kicking up, i done my grill at the same time and its showing half a dozen chips and the valence is fine.
