Default This just happened last weekend!!!

I just learned never ever to pull off to the side in the snow not knowing if there is a 4' ditch! This happened on the way up to the Grand Canyon. Stupid me a Pacific Islander in the snow! Anyway, it took a dump truck snow plow to haul me out. A Nissan Armada insisted to pull me out with tow straps! Needless to say that was a total failure and I warn him. Wished my wife took that picture.

Not bad! How'd she run after that?

My friend was doing donuts in his '98 Avalon (The lone ranger) and he planted his front end in the place where I planted my 4runner (all on purpose) and it froze his computer lol. His traction control wouldn't turn off. Once it thawed out about an hour later it was all good.

Good thing that didn't happen with you!

Good looking truck, I feel your pain. Been there, done that.

Front Susp: Stock coilovers, 4" lift (http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...6-4-inch-lift/), just swapped extra spacers for Bilstein 5100s on lowest setting, wheel well height still 41.5."

Rear Susp: ProComp ES3000 #326510 (2.25" taller than stock), 1.25" blocks plus PRG mini-pack (http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...and-new-truck/) gives 2.25" total lift, parking brake cable bracket spacers, wheel well height 43."

Front diff and rear ds drop; trailer hitch electrical harness tucked up above bumper.

After 20K miles swapped 305/65/18 BFG AT for 285/75/18 Toyo AT, still on stock 18x8x60 offset TRD wheels, about 1/8" clearance to sway bar. Like the extra height but miss the width. Next time either 305/70/18 or 35x12.50/18.

Added 5th 285/75/18 Toyo AT as spare. Foam pad above spare to help with bed bounce.

Bed Bounce: Stiffer E-tires are worse than stock P-metric; biggest improvement from PRG mini-pack, slight improvement from shocks and foam pad above spare. Still a stiff ride but tolerable now.

Best things about this truck: 5.7 and transmission, interior size and comfort, very quiet at high speed.

Worst things about this truck: bed bounce, no VSC in 4wd, mileage sucks above 70.

It takes alot to get one of these trucks stuck. I remember the first time I got mine stuck. It was awesome. I had the truck for about a year and a half at the time and was driving upstream in a river near my home in Florida. I drove through a deep spot and even with 6 inches of suspension lift and 35 inch mud tires my truck got stuck. My wheels and tires were completely underwater. The wheels were actually under the mud under the water (I couldn't see them at all). I put it in 4-high and held it at 4000 rpm while slightly steering left to right for a couple minutes...and God Bless these Tundras, it started moving forward. My truck actually pulled itsself out of about 3 feet of mud after sinking straight down into it. My diffs and the tranny were all under water. Even my bumpers and doors were soaking in it. But, it came through with flying color and I was so proud of her...it makes me want to cry. I'd like to see a Titan pull itsself out of that kind of hole

I would say you are lucky the air bags did not deploy, considering the bumper is pileup with snow.
Could have be costly.

The airbag sensors are no longer behind bumpers, they're now accellometers and not contact switches. I'm not sure where they're located, I'm sure it's different on each vehicle.
