Default Re: pullthis with your tundra!

diesels got way more torque than my truck.
I pulled with them a few times. finished near last.
that drag will stop 20,000 lbs semis

i pulled against mostly 1/2 @ 3/4 ton gas pickups

the new tundra is the best built gas powered truck out there.

beleive me I know.

made over 50 tips down the track last year with a drag behind me

not 1 broken part or problem...

Not with my Tundra, no way! That is just brutal on your rig. I used to get all the Diesel magazines and read numerous articles on sled pulling and it's just dead brutal on a rig. There's guys out there with 1,200hp/1,800tq Cummins pulling sleds and those guys are insane.

The most I will EVER tow with my Tundra is maybe, maybe 8k lbs any more and I'll upgrade to a 3/4 or 1 ton Cummins.

God Bless you for doing this and putting it on video for everyone to see. It just proves the Tundra is one mean truck and should be taken seriously. Any other half ton gassers out there? I wanna link this to other Tundra forum sites so they can see.

Could you explain the logic of burning up your tires doing donuts on pavement?
When you have a load of stuff to haul, do you watch a Tundra commercial too?
