Alright...some of you guys may remember I had mentioned something about my co-worker's LED tail lights for his Dodge 1500 and how I think if the company made some for the Tundra, but done nicely instead of ricey (lol), it would be pretty cool. Usually he brings the company van to make deliveries to my store but today he used his truck and I also happened to have my camera with me so I snapped some pics real quick. Check it out:
They look really good in person and don't strike me as being cheesy or ricey. I have been talking to the company already and they want to see a sketch or basicaly a graphical mock-up of what the Tundra ones would be like...and also an idea of a customer base. The design and potential market for the lights would be the deciding factor. I am currently working on a design and once it's finished I'll post it up and see what you guys think. I personally would love some LED tail-lights...but again, they have to be just right otherwise they will look like crap IMO. Thought I would share this with you guys and see what kind of response it would get...
So how many of you would actually consider some LED lights? If there aren't enough people interested then it will be nothing more than a waste of time, to put it bluntly.
Let's hear some opinions

I'd be in for that. I was thinking circular pattern grid for the red redlights, and sqaurish pattern grid for the yellow blinker in the clear part. Make them available in both the factory silver and black housings.
Whatever the design turns out to be I want to see all black tail lights with clear LED's that light up either red for brake lights, orange for turn signals, and clear for backups...So basically when they're off they're all blacked out and then they light up like regular tail lights.

Yea man...It would be really simple to have all black tails with all clear LED's that light up different colors for different functions...Simple and CLEAN. Thats what I want.
