Biggest Tires Possible on Stock Rims w/ Leveling Kit?
okay, so i have been debating about getting rims or not, i figure just get bigger tires on my stock rims now then save up and get rims and tires later, maybe this summer. okay so i will be installing the Truxxx leveling kit with the 3'' in front and 1'' in the back. so what is the biggest size tire i can fit on the stock SR5 18 inch alloy wheels? i'm lookin at like between a 33 and 35 inch tire, just dont know if a 35 will fit without rubbing. i dont want any rubbing either. i have the Bridgestone Duelers and absolutely hate them, they suck in the rain, no traction at all. anyway appreciate the help guys!
also, i want an all-terrain tire...any suggestions or preferences?

If you are willing to trim the skid plate, you can fit some (but not all) brands of 35x12.50x18 or smaller. The Toyo AT 285/75/18 I run is 35x11.50x18, great height but not as good looking as the BFG AT 305/65/18 I used to run.

Rear Susp: ProComp ES3000 #326510 (2.25" taller than stock), 1.25" blocks plus PRG mini-pack (http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...and-new-truck/) gives 2.25" total lift, parking brake cable bracket spacers, wheel well height 43."
Front diff and rear ds drop; trailer hitch electrical harness tucked up above bumper.
After 20K miles swapped 305/65/18 BFG AT for 285/75/18 Toyo AT, still on stock 18x8x60 offset TRD wheels, about 1/8" clearance to sway bar. Like the extra height but miss the width. Next time either 305/70/18 or 35x12.50/18.
Added 5th 285/75/18 Toyo AT as spare. Foam pad above spare to help with bed bounce.
Bed Bounce: Stiffer E-tires are worse than stock P-metric; biggest improvement from PRG mini-pack, slight improvement from shocks and foam pad above spare. Still a stiff ride but tolerable now.
Best things about this truck: 5.7 and transmission, interior size and comfort, very quiet at high speed.
Worst things about this truck: bed bounce, no VSC in 4wd, mileage sucks above 70.

so you think i should go with a 305/65/18 BFG? thats what i was thinkin. because in the end i wanna add 20 inch rims and a 305/55/20 tire. the only difference between those two tires is like .4 of an inch with the 305/65/18 being taller. so will the 305/65/18 fit on the stock rims and fit without rubbing with my truxxx lift kit?

Yes if you are willing to bend or trim the skid plate.

Re: Biggest Tires Possible on Stock Rims w/ Leveling Kit?
Here are my 305 / 65 / 18 BFG on Stock Wheels with ReadyLift 2.5" & SKID PLATE CUT ..
Make note: I get a new truck every 2 - 3 years so I rushed the cut of the skid plate as I couldnt give a crap what it looked like since im returning the truck after the lease and getting a new tundra.
Pics attached.

Re: Biggest Tires Possible on Stock Rims w/ Leveling Kit?
Note that it is not necessary to cut the skid plate. You can just bend the sides up so they are parallel with the sway bar.

Re: Biggest Tires Possible on Stock Rims w/ Leveling Kit?
I am running the BFG 305/65R18's as well, and all I had to do was bend the skid plate back. It is more pliable than you would think. I turned each wheel to the full extent of each direction and bent it back with a pair of pliers. Took a grand total of about 5 minutes for both sides, and I haven't had a problem or rub since.

Re: Biggest Tires Possible on Stock Rims w/ Leveling Kit?
I have the Truxxx 3" front and 1" rear lift with 285/75/18 Toyo ATs (34.8" x 11.3") on stock TRD rims. I trimmed the skidplate slightly and now there is no rubbing. See my gallery for pics.
Re: Biggest Tires Possible on Stock Rims w/ Leveling Kit?
i must say i do like your truck and tires...i still like the aftermarket rims tho but not sure i wanna spend the money for them
