TRD CAI Engine cover spacers ??

Okay guys I know I have ready a few posts about some of you guys installing this and your kit came with optional spacer kit so you did not have to cut your engine cover to re-install it. I contacted TRD USA about getting these and as I expected they said they do not exists...
So now I need some help from you guys that got the spacer kit can you look in your instruction manual and see if they show a part # for the spacer kit. If I do not find it soon, guess I will make my own spacer kit. I am currently out of town and just dont have enough tools to do it properly now and the local home depot and lowes just didn't have what I need to make the proper extensions/spacers for the front 2 push pin extensions but I was able to find bolts and spacers to use for the rear for now.
So help me out guys if you got that part number or if you made your own spacers what did you use and were you find it, I have not found anyone local that has anything I can use without having to re-tap the bolts to make it work right.

Okay to help others that may run into this delima here, since I got no replies from other members on a part number.
What I ended up doing after making a few temp adapters to hold the engine cover in place. I called TRD USA and spoke to someone there after a few emails we traded and they insisted they did not have anything like what I was refering too in the boxes. The issue is there is no part numbers for these spacers but after talking with one of the guys on the phone he also said they know nothing about it these parts. I suggested he open the newest manual up (Issue C, dated 1/09/08) which he said no they didn't have any updates since this was released nor have they been sent new documentation yet.
Well after I pointed out the page number and fig. number in the manual to review he said, oh I see what your saying now. He took my information and called over to there enginieers or soemthing and after a few hours he called me back to say hey were going to send out to you the spacers can you email us your address. I did and they over nighted me new spacer and bolts via UPS.
Wahooo I win .... well after proving to them I was right to begin with, so if anyone else needs these spacers just place a call to TRD USA and tell them to look at page 11 Fig.7-10 and 7-11 and they know what you need.

I picked up my CAI out of town which I guess they had sitting on the self since its release so it did not have the spacer setup, which I prefer over cutting the engine cover.

So, do you think they'll replace my engine cover I cut too?
Errrr. Installed it 1 month too early.

I don't think they would but as they say if you never ask you will never know.

I did some researching here before buying the TRD CAI so I knew they had come out with spacers as a option, so you don't have to cut the engine cover which makes more sense to me. I also bet you could find a engine cover in a salvage yard cheap.

Yeah, did the research too, just pulled the trigger and installed it 1 month before they released the spacers...

If it really starts bothering me, they are around $200 or so new.
Salvage yard is a better idea.

Is there any hp gain with the toyota TRD CAI before I think about geting one.
