This is a discussion thread titled "Where 07 Tundra DC LTD are built info?", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
I am looking for any info you can point me to that details where my 07 DC 5.7 Tundra 4x4 Ltd is built. It says on my window sticker San Antonio Texas and also my door sill it was assembled in Texas. I contacted Toyota USA and I gave the girl my Vin #, she told me that it was made in Princeton Indiana and final assembly was in Texas, she then agreed to e-mail a letter of Origin , then she talked to a supervisor and denied that it even existed!! No BS. I tried this a couple of times with the same result, nobody from Toyota USA wanted to give me any information on the truck. I know in some trucks there is a Parts content label that details how much domestic parts the truck contains, can't find one on mine.
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO PERTAINING TO THIS, OR KNOW WHERE TO LOOK??
Open the drivers door, and look at the sticker attached to the door frame. Should tell you where it was manufactured, along with the month/year. Mine was built 9/07 at the Indiana facility. Hope this helps.
It won't be built in both IN and TX plant - one or the other. Like the others said, it should be on inside of door with born date also. When we went to buy, we looked and looked for one built in IN but to no avail...all TX. Funny, how we were 30 mins. from Princeton plant and no IN made trucks..
They ship those trucks to Texas. Mine was built in Indiana. Course that was because when I bought it, all CMs came from Indiana.
Same hear..... I heard that all CMs came from Indiana.... at least when I bought mine
