Default AMP Bed Step

AMP Power Steps has a neat looking bed step of the Tundra. Has anyone tried this yet?? If so do you think it would stand up to winter driving and road salt?

those look cool, the automatic running boards they sell are pricey but cool.

Guess I need to clarify this a bit. I am talking about the AMP BED STEP that mounts under the rear bumper, not the electric ones. ($249 list)

I bought one and installed it. Nice high quality step. The install is easy up until you try to put the bumper bracket bolts back. They are a bit difficult to get a socket on.

Do they really cost $1600? That's rediculous if it does.

No, that's the electric steps. The bed step is $249 list.

No Mike, the $1600 ones are the ones that fold up under the cab then unfold to allow access to your cab. All this is done electrically and is SWEEEEEEEEEETTTTT....

OK. Yes, the side ones are cool, but again, not worth it to me - at least not with only a 3" lift. I might be interested on the bed step for $249 though (after other mods I want).
