TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2007 and later Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "AMP Bed Step", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
AMP Power Steps has a neat looking bed step of the Tundra. Has anyone tried this yet?? If so do you think it would stand up to winter driving and road salt?
Looks pretty cool..... I wish it would hide better when not in use.

FUTURE MODS -
25-30 ft Travel Trailer....... bye bye Pop-Up
I bought one and installed it. Nice high quality step. The install is easy up until you try to put the bumper bracket bolts back. They are a bit difficult to get a socket on.
No Mike, the $1600 ones are the ones that fold up under the cab then unfold to allow access to your cab. All this is done electrically and is SWEEEEEEEEEETTTTT....

OK. Yes, the side ones are cool, but again, not worth it to me - at least not with only a 3" lift. I might be interested on the bed step for $249 though (after other mods I want).
