Default RCSB Modded Today: 3" Toytec, 20" BMF Novakane, 33x12.5 Toyo MT

I had my 3" toytec lift installed yesterday - the shop charged me for 2.5 hours. It lifted the truck 1 inch in the back but only 2 inches in the front. I don't care that I didn't get the full lift because it looks great with the new tires and I wanted to keep some of the rake. I am just glad that I didn't go with the 2 inch lift since I wouldn't want less than I got.

I ordered new wheels and tires yesterday and had them installed this afternoon, talk about service - D&D Vehicle Sales in Camrose really hooked me up. My truck looks awesome and is getting even more attention than it did before. I have a pretty unique truck up here in Canada, I have never come across another RCSB before.

I decided on the Chrome BMF Novakane 5 wheels - I had seen pictures of trucks with the black ones but couln't find any with the chrome. I am not into the black wheel look like most people on here and am extremely happy with the way it turned out.

Choosing the tires was a hard decision, I ended up going with the 33x12.5/20 Toyo Open Country MT tires. A local tire shop had a set of 305/55R20 BFG KM2 MTs in it's showroom that looked awesome but they were asking way too much - $550 and my preferred dealer couldn't get the KM2s any time soon due to limited availability. I hadn't seen the Toyos in person before I got them, they look just as awesome and it just feels right to have Toyos for my Toyota - lol. I was disapointed that they don't have white lettering on either side though, it would have been nice to have the option to display it.

What do you think I should do next?

sweet! let me know what you think of those tires in terms of noise and mpg, if you don't mind.
i vote for the black headlight mod. i've always dug white trucks with tint and black accents, and i think it would set your truck off even more.

Man you gotta take that thing offroad ASAP! I bet it will rock. You definitely have some nice approach and departure angles now and especially the best breakover angle of all the Tundra models! Sweet truck!

How do those tires ride? Are they loud driving down the street/highway? I really love how the Toyo MT's look, and I might get them next time I get tires (which should be quite a while from now since I just bought BFG's).

Also, your truck looks great!!

Thanks for the suggestions, dual exhaust is at the top of my list right now. I am also thinking about getting fender flares, there is a lot of gravel around here and I am worried about getting rock chips.

I was very surprised the first time I drove with the new tires. I had expected them to make a be loud but they are actually pretty quiet. Unless you pay attention, you cannot hear them at all. You can hear more engine noise than noise from the tires. I will let you know how they sound on the highway.

I'm gonna get it off road this weekend, I am hoping for some warm weather so I can find some mud.

I will try to figure out how much my mileage changed. I have a pretty heavy foot and my mileage is always different with every tank, I might have to take a highway trip to figure it out accurately.

I bought my truck from D&D Vehicle Locators in Camrose. They brought it up out of the states for me last fall.

Did yours come out of the States also? If so, did you get yours switched into kms? Mine is still in miles but I would like to get it switched if it isn't too big of a job.
