Positive / negative reviews...I haven't read this thread completely through, but have you guys kept track of who has TRD suspension and who does not, and any correlation to TRD / non TRD?
Well, I hate to be the first.. I had mine installed Friday.. I was a bit disappointed that the issue I have is still there.. I get a Reverberation if I hit a any bumps square on.. Like if I go over railroad tracks, etc. The back goes.. BoooyoyoyoyIInnnngggg!. You can feel it several seconds after you hit it.. You can stand on the rear bumper and jump up and down and watch it reverberate all the way to the cab.. I was really hoping that would have been taken care of with the new springs but unfortunately for me It did not..
I can't say my truck rides smooth as glass like someone said earlier. Hardly!. Your constantly bopping up and down in the seat even on a relatively decent road.
So, I guess most of you had it really bad or something perhaps I never experienced.
Anywho, Was there much noticeable difference in ride quality other than that for me.. Ehh.. Sorry.. Not really.. If you didn't tell me the springs were replaced I would have never known..
I'll give it some more time though..
Are you sure you installed them with the short side towards the front?
With mine the improvement was immediate. Even more interesting, though, is the ride has continued to improve over the last 500 miles. We have one section of freeway here in AZ that rides as bad as I-10 through San Bernardino in southern California. By bad I mean you can't talk without your voice quivering from the rough ride. This was the first place I tested after installing the PRG springs. It was better, but certainly not perfect.
Spent the day off-roading today (one of only 2 vehicles that didn't get partially stuck). Spring pack did fine. Much to my surprise, when I got back into town the ride on the notorious section had improved even more. I wasn't expecting more improvement from what I experienced after the initial install, but it definitely happened.
So I'm curious if anyone else's ride has continued to improve after a few hundred miles? BTW, no squeaks from the pack during or after off-roading, but it's too soon to pass final judgement on that aspect. If they are still quiet in 5K miles, then I will be convinced they won't squeak.

Rear Susp: ProComp ES3000 #326510 (2.25" taller than stock), 1.25" blocks plus PRG mini-pack (http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...and-new-truck/) gives 2.25" total lift, parking brake cable bracket spacers, wheel well height 43." Front diff and rear ds drop; trailer hitch electrical harness tucked up above bumper. After 20K miles swapped 305/65/18 BFG AT for 285/75/18 Toyo AT, still on stock 18x8x60 offset TRD wheels, about 1/8" clearance to sway bar. Like the extra height but miss the width. Next time either 305/70/, 295/70, or 35x12.50/18. Added 5th 285/75/18 Toyo AT as spare. Bed Bounce: Stiffer E-tires are worse than stock P-metric; biggest improvement from PRG mini-pack, slight improvement from shocks. Still a stiff ride but tolerable now. Best things about this truck: 5.7 and transmission, interior size and comfort, very quiet at high speed. Worst things about this truck: bed bounce, no VSC in 4wd, mileage sucks above 70.
I guess I am the second one with very little improvement. I did this install with my stock Bilsteins. I do have the TRD suspension. I don't know if that has something to do with it. I am going to keep it this way for a week to see if it improves over time. I also have the Rancho 9000XL's. If I don't see any improvement I'll try the Ranchos. Could it be that my stock tires are not balanced properly? Other then that, I am open for suggestions. The Harbor Fwy (110) sucks.

I'm guessing you have a DC, as they seem to have the worst bed bounce.
I, too, have a TRD DC. Changing tires, getting rid of the rear Bilsteins, changing the rake, and a full-size heavier spare all helped my ride, but the single change that made the biggest difference was the PRG mini-pack. As I reported above, it got even better after a few hundred miles, which I don't have a definitive explanation for.
If you are sure you installed them with the short side towards the front, my only other suggestion would be swapping shocks. Give it a week as you suggested, though, and you might be pleasantly surprised.

That's funny, I drive on the I-10 7 days a week. I have noticed a big difference on that crappy freeway.
Mine were installed correctly.. The short side to the front.. I laid on my back under the rear of the truck yesterday and was slapping the spare tire.. Just trying to see that bounce in action. It's really bizarre.. The shocks don't even move.. I can figure it out.. It's almost like the bed itself is not tight as it can be on the frame..
I dunno.. Again, I'll give it some more miles.. Maybe the new springs have to flex and settle through their range of motion a few times before I'll really notice more bounce absorption.

With mine, I just open the tailgate about 6" and slam it shut, the amount of bounce is unbelievable. I noticed when I get in the bed and slam the tailgate the bounce is reduced significantly, but I can feel the reverberation through the bed. I was thinking about supporting the rear of the frame with jack stands, just to get the weight off the springs, and slam the gate and see what happens, as soon as time and weather permit. Today I actually loosened the bed bolts so they were just snug to see if it would change the bounce. No difference.

Tell me where it is, Daniel....
Been looking for a section of road here in AZ to show service techs what it's like. Haven't been able to find anything local that resembles the ride on I-10 through Beaumont.

I10W, just past 60, transition ramp to 143N. Take that ramp between 50-65 and you will recognize the bed bounce. It's not as long or as bad as Beaumont, but it's close.
I don't think Toyota will do anything for you. The mini-pack is by far the best fix I have found.

Not so sure I would call it a "fix". I think that is what gets some expectations too high. There is still a little "aftershock", just no where near as bad. The smoother, softer ride in itself is enough (IMO) to go with the mini pack. I always excepted my truck's ride as one from a big heavy truck that tows and hauls a LOT of weight. I still have a big heavy truck that tows and hauls a LOT of weight. Only now it rides a LOT more comfortable. I'm not so sure it will "solve" the problem you SoCal owners are having, but it should sure make it a LOT better and well worth the money.
I notice a huge difference on good roads also. Before, when you hit a seam or crack in the road, you felt it. Now, I barely notice them. In fact, because of the soft ride and big tires, I think it rides almost as nice as my car.

Just an update.. I think someone suggested taking out the spare tire just to see what effect it would have.. Well, I did that tonight.. Let me tell ya fellas.. That spare is one beefy Mofo!. That thing must weight 60lbs.. Holy Cr@p.. Anyhow.. Unfortunately it didn't make any difference on the Boing effect. LOL.
It really has me baffled too.. I stood on the back bumper and bounced it a few times and it's amazing the ripple effect that you feel.. Could it be some sort of rubber isolators the bed is sitting on that has too much flex? I tried tightening the bed bolts for the heck of it.. A few turned just a little but still the same deal.
Just the oddest thing.
Here's a kicker though.. My Step Dads 05/06 Ram 1500 has the same effect when you jump on the back bumper.. I was over at my mom/dads this weekend helping them setup their PC and when I left I was telling my Mom about the bounce and wanted to show her how the Ram doesn't do that but it did.. Probably not as bad as the Tundra and likely doesn't transmit to the cab but enough to make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmm..
