Well, here's a Pic of the Frame.. Where would the reinforcements need to be made?
I can't tell from that view. Someone mentioned they thought it was where the single C channel met the double C-Channel under the rear of the cab. A reinforcement across that union should do the trick - or at least move the radius arm of rotation toward the rear which should eliminate the harmonic. I've been meaning to get under there and take a look...

So you can only do that if the picture is on the internet not on your computer, right?
Yes, but once you upload it and attach it, it is now on the internet.
Preview your post, click on the thumbnail, copy the address from the window that opens up for the picture, and post in as a full picture in your thread by using the postcard icon.
Just keep the pictures under 800x600

One thing that appears odd to me in the picture, aside from the rear leafs angling in at the rear, is the length of the spring from O.C. at its mounting point on the rear axle to the rear shackles. (at the rear part of the X cross member above the spare tire) It seems to be extremely long. I wonder how it compares to other manufacturers and what effect this may have? I also notice that on some Dodge and Chevys the shackles are inverted with mounting plates.
THUNDERA
This is the exact spot where I think Toyota needs to reinforce to stop the frame flex. Then you won't see you child in the back seat throwing up all over the place. lol
I've been saying this all along about where the double "C" meets the single "C"
It looks like there are two solutions - the shocks and the leaf pack. My goal is for my truck to ride like i have 200lbs (5 bags of topsoil in my case) in the back, should i start with the shocks or the mini-pack?
What I dislike most about the ride is the oscillation you get after you hit a bump...it just jiggles the heck out of you...If I can minimize that I'd be a happy man!
