If I did this mod before I receive my wet okole seat covers would it make the installation of the covers easier?

mhollack,
If you want, we can do the seat mod next weekend when we put on your lift.
It only takes about a 1/2 hour and I have the pieces left from when I did mine to use as a template.

Hey MX, you should just make a template scan it up and share it with the rest of us
Will this work for ya? From a few posts back.

Just did this mod this past weekend! Now this week I am going one step further and going to make a panel to finish the rear of the seats to make them look better!

I'm doing the same, I have extra carpet from my speaker box project to match, and a piece of 1/8" plywood...just need to get the ambition to finish it up. The parts are waiting patiently in my garage.

Dude this was totally easy and works wonderful. If you have a dremmel just use the cut off wheel and it will go right through it. I just left the seats in the truck with the hook on them still. I just took some scrap cloth and covered the areas around it. Not that much dust came off. Real sweet mod.
how are you holding the mdf, in are there some unused holes to tap and thread or just friction. i plan on getting this done this weekend, and just getting an idea of what i will need.
thanks,
tim
